Decades of Game Days the Delta Way

The first Razorback football game of the year is on Saturday and we wanted to take a little trip down memory lane to relive, reminisce, and swoon over game days that created the traditions we have now.

Over the decades, Arkansas football has changed in many ways. We watched the Hogs trade the old Southwest Conference for the SEC, watched Razorback Stadium grow into a 76,000-seat stage, lived through shifting coaching eras, and new uniform designs. We’ve braved torrential downpours at War Memorial, agonized over brutal SEC heartbreaks, and celebrated those glorious, field-storming upsets that make the state of Arkansas shake.

Conferences change, tailgating trends shift, and rosters cycle through, but step inside 920 W. Maple on a crisp autumn Saturday, and you’ll realize the heart of Arkansas football hasn’t changed one bit.

Razorback fans are loyal to a fault. We don't just follow a team- we inherit a lifelong allegiance. Through the electric winning seasons and the heart-testing rebuilding years, win or lose, Arkansas fans show up.

Game day isn't defined by what happens on the scoreboard; it's defined by an unbreakable tradition that ties every generation of Tri Deltas and Razorbacks together. Here is a look at why, no matter how much the game changes, our loyalty never will.

DLAM and happy game day Deltas!
