Happy Tuesday, Deltas! It's officially summer and we couldn't be more excited. But we can't let this semester go by without highlighting some big things that happened!
The New Slate
At the beginning of the semester, five members started their term as our executive team. Emily Nash, Katie Camp, Addy Meaders, Chloe Smith and Emmy Smith officially began their term, bringing a fresh perspective and a shared vision to the chapter. This group was carefully selected for their passion and commitment. These women have hit the ground running, implementing new strategies and fostering an environment where every member feels heard. Their primary goal is to build upon the chapter's foundations while innovating for the future.
St. Jude
Our commitment to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital remains stronger than ever. Through creative fundraising events and tireless outreach, the chapter has raised significant funds to support life-saving research and treatment. Every dollar reflects our dedication to ensuring that "no child should die in the dawn of life." This semester, we have raised over $300,000 for St. Jude!
Travel
From weekend getaways to international adventures, our sisters have loved traveling this semester. Whether it’s exploring new cities or embarking on study-abroad programs this summer, these experiences have allowed sisters to bond outside 920 West Maple Street and create memories that cross the globe.
Academics
We are incredibly proud of our academic high-achievers. The women here are working hard in various programs like nursing, architecture, engineering, business, and so many more. Several of our seniors have recently received exciting news regarding law school and other prestigious graduate programs. Their hard work is a testament to the drive and intellect within this house.
Campus Involvement
Our presence in the Associated Student Government (ASG) remains a point of pride. Members have been actively advocating for student interests, serving on various committees, and ensuring our chapter's voice is represented in campus-wide decisions. This involvement bridges the gap between Greek life and the broader university administration. Our very own Faith Seddig was named Student Body Vice President! We are so proud of all of our sisters who care about our campus and the people in it.
Mom Jodi
This year was our House Director, Mom Jodi's, last year with us. For years, she has been the "heart of the home," providing guidance, support, and a warm smile to every member who walked through the door. While we are sad to see her go, we are endlessly grateful for the love she poured into this chapter and wish her the very best in her next chapter. Don't worry though, you'll get to hear some of her favorite Tri Delta stories in a Pansy Post to come.
This semester was one for the books! While saying "see you later" to so many of our friends is so hard, we can't wait to see all of the fun adventures this summer holds. Have a great summer, Deltas!!!
