This is a bittersweet Pansy Post! Today we wanted to shine a big spotlight on our outgoing executive officers! These five incredible women have helped our chapter stand tall and led with grace, dedication, and a big heart. Each one is a true representation of our values and what it means to be a Tri Delta. We are grateful for the time, love, and leadership they have poured into this chapter. Evie, Lexie, Adaley, McKenzie, and Kennedy have been such great examples for our chapter.
Evie says her favorite part about serving as our Chapter President was the "opportunity to give back to a chapter that has given so much back to me." One piece of advice Evie would give younger Tri Deltas would be "to lean into every opportunity that comes your way. Find something you are passionate about and invest your time and energy into it." Well said, Evie!
Lexie says the greatest lesson she learned while holding this position was to lean on those you love. "Life it short, and college flies by so quickly, so it is very important to soak in quality time with your best friends before you all move on to other things." One piece of advice Lexie has for younger girls is "don't lose sight of yourself. Your people will meet you where you are, so there's no reason to change yourself to fit in with people who aren't like you."
Adaley says getting to work with so many amazing young women was one of her favorite parts of being an exec member. "It showed me how many positions like this allow you to elevate a team by discovering each other's strengths and working together toward a common goal"
McKenzie says her favorite part about being Vice President of Community Relations was "getting to help [her] directors bring their visions to life. Tri Delt gave me a space to develop and use them to serve the chapter and community, which is something I'm forever grateful for!"
Kennedy says serving as the Vice President of Membership Experience has allowed her to "foster relationships with each PC [and it] has been so special and by far the most rewarding part of [my job]." The best piece of advice Kennedy has is to "just go for it- you'll never achieve your dreams if you aren't willing to be uncomfortable."

While it’s bittersweet to see this era come to an end, we are filled with gratitude for the foundation these women have built. Their advice- to be brave, to be authentic, and to lean on one another- will remain at the heart of our chapter. We are better because of your leadership, and we look forward to carrying your vision forward into the next year. Delta Iota loves you!
